Ford PH’s 50th dealership facility opens in Talisay City, Cebu

TALISAY CITY, Cebu – The 50^th dealership facility of Ford-Philippines is now officially opened at the Cebu South Road Properties (SRP) Road at Barangay Cansojong in Talisay City, Cebu to serve its customers and is expected to expand the Ford brand further in Cebu and the neighboring provinces in Central Visayas.

“Opening our 50th dealership facility in the country is a special milestone for Ford Philippines and for our growing customer base in Cebu,” Ford-Philippines managing director Michael Breen said.

Ford Talisay is operated by Fairlane Automotive Ventures, Inc. (FAVI) and is expected to reach more customers and giving them access to Ford’s segment-leading vehicles and the Ford ownership experience.

In a Media Showroom Tour Thursday, June 16 FAVI general manager Andre Borromeo bared that Ford Talisay has a total floor area of 1,397 square meters that can accommodate a 7-car showroom display and 11 service bays with provision for future expansion.

Borromeo said that the showroom brings to life the dealership branding guidelines of Ford, showcasing a more globally-aligned exterior and interior look and feel called Ford Signature to offer customers a better dealership environment and experience.

“This is our second full size dealership complete sales and service facilities, very convenient for our customers. Ford Talisay is a brand showroom running on solar with 80 percent of our electric consumption is taken from the sun.  Our Lahug showroom is actually complete solar,” Borromeo added.

Borromeo said that Ford is on the path to recovery amid the pandemic and it is currently at the number 3 spot in terms of sales recovery with its top seller, the Ford Ranger. The vehicle market is a combination of smaller vehicle and the 4-wheel drive. 

“The pandemic has encouraged people and families to ride their own cars rather than taking  public transport.  This is a very good time to buy a car. We saw the industry go down in 2020 but the dealers didn’t just sit down, we aggressively mount promos for smaller cars, and we want people to buy cars,” Borromeo added.

He thanked its partners from Ford Philippines for its support and collaboration in seeing the construction of Ford Talisay into fruition to serve its customers from Talisay City to the Southern towns of Cebu.

He said that the opening of Ford Talisay is a testament to the growing preference towards the Ford brand and its growing vehicle portfolio and after-sales offerings and he is grateful to the partnership with FAVI and looking forward to serving the automotive needs of more Cebuanos with Ford Talisay dealership.

Borromeo bared that to celebrate its opening, Ford Talisay is giving away special Ford merchandise to the first 50 customers.  Customers purchasing a Ford Territory, Ranger, or Everest within the month of June will also receive free scheduled service plan (SSP) package. 

Special offers are also up for grabs for select Ford vehicles on top of existing promos and deals.
