NU Philippines opens its 13th campus in Cebu at SM City Complex

CEBU CITY—The National University (NU) Philippines opened its 13^th campus in Metro Cebu at the North Wing SM CITY Cebu Complex with a media tour of the facility on June 4, with Cebu’s content creators, media influencers, V/bloggers and the mainstream media.

 

“Welcome to NU Cebu, bringing education that works to Central Visayas NU Cebu, the 13^th campus of the National University, Philippines, home of the CebuaNUBulldogs.  We are bringing to the Visayas education that is accessible, affordable, quality, education that works,” Johanna Minglana, Executive and Administrative Director told the group at the opening of the Media Tour.

Minglana added that an NU education means employability after graduation.  She shared that almost 92 percent of NU’s graduates have been employed with the SM Group of Companies and its subsidiaries because NU is part of SM Investments.

She also shared that to date, there are already about 9,000 students that registered with NU-Cebu with Psychology program as very popular choice.  NU CEBU is ready to offer an industry- responsive Senior High School Program and academic degree programs such as Accountancy, Architecture, Computer Science, Tourism Management, Psychology, and Medical Technology.

“NU Cebu aims to be the top-of-mind university that prepares individuals not only to be job-ready, but life-ready -- individuals who are equipped with the skills, values, and mindset needed in today's fast-changing world,” Minglana added.

On its 125"h year milestone, National University, Philippines opens its 13th campus in Metro Cebu, carrying with it a unique identity, blending with its locality. It is the 2nd campus in the Visayas Region, and the 1st in Central Visayas.
