CEBU CITY— Nine hundred sixty-one (961) families in the different barangays of Cebu City graduated from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) during the Saulog 4Ps ceremonial graduation on March 15 at the Cebu City Sports Institute, Brgy. Sawang Calero, Cebu City.
According to DSWD7 Twitter X posts, 200 of the 961 families that graduated from the 4Ps program participated in the ceremony where Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama and other local officials were also present in the event.
Meanwhile, DSWD Region 7 also conducted the Saulog Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Ceremonial Graduation and Oath of Commitment for new 4Ps beneficiaries in Cebu Province, on March 12 at the CTU Bantawan sa Kabantog Gymnasium in San Francisco, Camotes, Cebu.
Some 482 households from San Francisco graduated from the 4Ps program, while 550 new beneficiaries under Set 12 took their oath of commitment during the event with the presence of DSWD7 Regional Director Shalaine Marie Lucero, Central Cebu Provincial Link Brigieda Goron, Social Welfare Officer III Alexandro Obo and San Francisco local officials led by Mayor Alfredo Arquillano, Jr.
Central Visayas region has 292,804 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) female grantees, or 89.30 percent of the total active grantees as of March 1, 2024.
The household grantees refer to the most responsible adult member of the qualified household beneficiary authorized to receive the conditional cash transfer from the government. (Photos: DSWD7-TwitterX)
