NEGROS OCCIDENTAL-- The 53rd Engineer Brigade, Philippine Army, in cooperation with other government agencies constructed high-quality single-detached houses, standard roads and were handed over to 64 members of the well-established Kapatiran Peace and Development Community Site in Sitio Mabinay, Brgy. Locotan, Kabankalan, Negros Occidental.
These infrastructure projects were constructed by the 53rd IB-PA in cooperation with other government agencies as part of the brigade’s commitment to contribute to the overall development of the country.
The Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) facilitated the release of fund for the construction of these facilities under the Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) Program, in relation to the government’s peace and development efforts. (Photos: 53rd IB-PA)
