Thousands of years have passed but the legend of King Arthur continues to delight bookworms and wordsmiths.  Bringing the show to completion are the original songs composed by Jim Donnachie. The Musical is the first of the series of plays to be produced by Alba Productions.

Among the roster of homegrown talents who will breathe life to the classic characters are Shim Dagatan, Felmar Bruces (King Arthur), Mark Anthony Magtajas, CJ Seville (Sir Mordred of Camelot), Ioanni Marie Beltran, Maria Shaina Mahipos (Guinevere), Alexa Faye Vito, Yesha Suralta (Valaria), Mary Darlene Rusiana, Joana Marie Modesto (Morgan Le Fay), Cris Reanne Sacay, Chriscelle Rubia (the Handmaiden), Rinzon Elarcosa (Thomas), Zenith Rivera (King Leodegrance), Joshua Andrino (Kilgharrah the Dragon), Lyndon Goc-Ong (Sir Bedivere), Eljen Bernales (young King Arthur), Luke Timothy Bascara , Genreid Estrada (Sir Lancelot), KB Perez, John Paul Fajardo (Sir Kay), Arnel Pahang (Sir Ector), Sol Eugenio (Sir Agravain), Dave Feril, Dr. Jan Michael Lao (Merlin the Wizard).  Prof. Ligaya Rabago will have a special appearance as The Lady of the Lake.

The Musical is a melodramatic stage musical with intrigue, drama, romance, adultery, chivalry and magic- based on historical mythology: The Legend of King Arthur.

"The Path to Avalon" is produced by Alba Music Productions and co-presented by SM Supermalls, Kale, Jaimee's Hotel & Resort, Creative Space Studio, and CYMRU.

This period piece is fraught with drama, intrigue, magic and of course, love set in the 6th century revolving around the rise and fall of Arthur as King of Britain combining both history and legend well-documented in the Encyclopedia Britannica.
