Pythaverse launches Digital Hub PH as its exclusive distributor in the country

CEBU CITY – Singapore-based Pythaverse Robotics launched Digital Hub PH Corp. in Cebu on July 2 at Golden Peak Hotel & Suites as its exclusive distributor of its products and services in the Philippines with the presentation of its Robotics program to about 100 participants mostly composed of the academe/education sector with some media and content creators.

“There is a need to understand the impact of technology on society and to find a balance between traditional teaching methods and technological innovation showcasing innovative approaches to robotics and the importance of collaboration between humans and robots,” Pythaverse PTE Ltd. President Trung Nguyen said in his opening presentation.

Nguyen talked about the rapid advancements in technology and their potential to transform society, highlighting the exponential growth of technology and the importance of preparing students for the rapidly changing technology landscape, predicting a future with increased robotics and AI.

He cited that there is a need to explore integrating emerging technologies proactively with educators to address the gap between students' home and school experiences; look into solutions to solve the potential issues of losing teacher-student trust and relationship if machines intervene too much in the learning process; and to provide a demonstration of the Pythaverse platform and how it aims to help with technology-enabled education.

Integrating technology in education to enhance learning experience, blurring of online and offline worlds with the rise of augmented reality and IoT. There are some potential dangers of relying on digital twins for physical objects, citing the example of robot arms interfering with human bodies.

He discussed the impact of technology on education and industry, highlighting the need for preparation and adaptation in the face of rapid change.

Presenting the LEANBOT

“Parents trust teachers to provide good knowledge and skills, but AI could disrupt teacher-student relationship if not used carefully. Technology at home is more advanced than in school, leading to a gap in educational experience that needs to be addressed,” Nguyen noted.

Part of the launching event in Cebu was the robotics program presentation.  “Meet the world’s 1st Educational Metaverse learning mate for your child with Learning by doing method, your child will have 1 Leanbot Robot connected to Tutor 24/7.  Our Learning Management system provides world-class STEM learning by doing curriculum design so your child can learn anytime, anywhere,” the Pythaverse Team introduced the Leanbot.

According to the Team, the Leanbot is the smartest, leanest and most innovative robotics learning toolkit with digital twin technology.   The Leanbot offers 24/7 learning with online tutoring and flipped class that helps students learn STEM in a fun and engaging way.

Pythaverse said that learning with Leanbot means the child gets semi-industrial skills because Leanbot comes with comprehensive semi-industrial sensors and full Arduino capabilities for engineering learning purposes.
