ACMobility Cebu honors partner banks, other financial institutions

CEBU CITY – ACMobility-Cebu celebrated and honored its partner banks and other financial institutions with an event dubbed as “Bankers Appreciation Lunch” held at Isuzu Cebu Showroom at A. Soriano Avenue on July 19 to recognize and appreciate their hard work as supportive partners in its efforts towards a worry-free and sustainable transportation and mobility industry.

“We’re doing this “Bankers Appreciation” events in our many branches in North and Metro Manila and now in Cebu to drive the point that ACMobility is into sustainability in reducing carbon in the Philippines by encouraging, not only Honda and Isuzu but all other brands under ACMobility and its bank partners to be part of the endeavors,” Sam Gran, Central Corporate Manager said in an interview with some members of the Cebu Online News Press Corps (CONPC) during the event.

Bryan Enerio, ACMobility Honda Cebu and VisMin branch manager added that the event brought together ACMobility leaders from Honda Cars Cebu and Mandaue, Isuzu-Cebu, Volkswagen Cebu, and Kia, all uniting to share the road map towards building complete mobility ecosystems in Visayas.

“Reinforcing as well ACMobility’s commitment towards a Greener Future with the Acre Movement and Headache-free car ownership under its Extended Warranty program, we hope that with the presence of the banks and other financial institution partners, we can achieve our goal towards the 2030 roadmap to sustainable Revenues and End-to-End Mobility Solutions,” Enerio explained.

Enerio said that the desired growth on ACMobility ecosystems include ACMobility brands improvement on technology, availability, sustainability as overall mobility solutions for Cebuanos and the Visayas/Mindanao areas.

On accessibility, ACMobility will have bank displays of the various car brands; hold mall events and inter-island presence and off-site displays.  For clients’ convenience, ACMobility will hold corporate caravans, fleet programs, test drive series and infrastructure development to include mobility trends in hybridization and electric cars, Enerio revealed.

On ease of ownership, ACMobility embarks on digitalization of applications, fast approval and worry-free ownership.  Daichi Morita, Project manager, Premium Warranty Services Philippines Inc. bared that ACMobility and Premium Warranty Services have collaborated for the Extended Warranty program, a product that manufacturers want up to five years.

“Most of the Japanese car brands have the 5-year warranty period which is very competitive with other Japanese or other brands. So, we believe, this is the standard period to have the 5-year warranty also in the Philippines,” Morita noted.

Arleen Radjaie, Operation Manager, Honda Cars Mandaue said that AC Motors rebranded into ACMobility to be more inclusive in what it intends to offer and this is sustainable mobility for all Filipinos. 

“We want to build on the 33 years of automotive experience and heritage and usher ourselves into a space where we can provide better solutions for the customers that we grew with.  We are also updating our offerings to be in sync with the industry’s trends,” she added.

Knowing ACMobility

According to its website posts, ACMobility is a subsidiary of the Ayala Group of Companies and the country's first end-to-end mobility provider and aside from operating the largest dealer networks of Honda and Isuzu, it is the official distributor of Kia, Volkswagen, and BYD passenger cars in the Philippines.

ACMobility is also the master franchisor of the Bosch Car Service automotive workshop network, which offers the “one-stop-shop" services for mechanical issues, vehicle diagnostics, and intricate electronics related to engine and safety systems, the website reads.
