LAPULAPU CITY— The historic East Asia Super League (EASL) Final Four is happening right here in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu from March 8-10, 2024, the first-ever championship for this new basketball league.
Department of Tourism (DOT) Cebu warmly welcomes the elite basketball talents and fans from across East Asia—China, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea for the EASL Final Four championship here.
The Department of Tourism Central Visayas Office gave a festive welcome to these elite athletes and their fans complete with a traditional Sinulog performance at the country’s world-renowned Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA).
Basketball fans can look forward to seeing NBA legend Jeremy Lin (New Taipei Kings), Japan’s national team captain Yuki Togashi (Chiba Jets), KBL MVP Jameel Warney (Seoul SK Knights), and rising star Robert Carter Jr. (Anyang Jung Kwan Jang Red Boosters) compete for the championship.
The players will even get a chance to explore the beauty of Cebu with an island hopping tour!
