Anjo World treats 300 orphans to celebrate its1st year anniversary

MINGLANILLA, Cebu—Anjo World, Cebu’s premier amusement park located the Belmont One Complex in Barangay Calajoan in Minglanilla town treated 300 orphans from the four orphanages in Cebu to enjoy all the amenities and rides to mark and celebrate its significant milestone of its first-year anniversary since it brought world-class amusement tourism to Cebu.

These orphanages include SOS Children’s Village, Juanito I King Foundation, Children’s Joy Foundation and Casa Miami Somascan Fathers.

“We have invited 300 orphans this year, as we want them to enjoy the park amid the pandemic. We want them to know that Anjo World will always be here for them,” Anjo World president Chester Lim said.

Lim said that Anjo World, owned and operated by Belmont One is among those that have since reopened with health and safety measures in place as economic activities in many parts of Cebu have slowly resumed.

According to Cedric Reyes, head of Sales, Marketing and Press Relations that as Anjo World celebrates its first anniversary in the amusement tourism industry, the company is optimistic on the prospects of the amusement tourism in Cebu.

“We are always improving our customer service to bring world-class experience to all our guests, acquire more mid-way games and introduce new entertainment inside the park.  We also make it a point to be at par with international amusement standards when it comes to guests’ safety,” Reyes said.

Reyes said that currently, while the Covid-19 pandemic remains a threat, Anjo World has taken safety measures to boost customer confidence and entice more visitors. The virus is still present, but Anjo World makes sure that the park is kept safe, clean and disinfected for both guests and its team members.

One of the anniversary highlights is the Snow World Cebu, considered as the first winter attraction in the Visayas and Mindanao region.  It is introducing a new theme this year the “Snow Village,” which features colorful gingerbread houses, Reyes added.

“This will be another treat to all families especially during this Christmas season.  We are very excited as this will bring more guests to Anjo World in a clean and safe mode of transportation.

MyBus will be starting soon here at Belmont One Complex as Anjo World management inked a partnership with MyBus to give more easy transportation access to the premier amusement destination.
