CEBU CITY -- The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office (PSA RSSO VII) announced its completion of the 2024 target for the National lD System registration in Central Visayas with 7,107,744 individuals representing a 101 percent of the 7.04M registration target in the region.
PSA-7 presented the number of registered individuals by province with Cebu having registered 4,499,646 individuals; Negros Oriental with 1,272,638; Bohol with 1,237,213 and Siquijor at 98,247 registered individuals.
According to PSA RSSO Vll that the agency continues the National lD registration in 2025 with expanded coverage for children below one year old and walk-in registration remains accessible at designated registration centers throughout the region (philsys.gov.ph/registration-center).
Mobile registration initiatives and collaborative programs with partner agencies and institutions also continue to ensure continued accessibility for all residents. As of December 31, 2024, a total of 4,503,238 National lD cards have been delivered in Central Visayas.
Registrants may track the delivery status of their cards via the PHLPost tracking website at hftp:/ltracking.phlpost.gov.phl using their 29-digit Transaction Reference Number (TRN) found in the transaction slip.
Those individuals awaiting their National lD cards can obtain a printed copy of the National lD in Paper Form or ePhillD by visiting any registration center and present the transaction slips or a copy of the TRNs.
As of 31 December 2024, a total of 2,490,329 ePhillDs have been issued in the region. Additionally, registrants may also generate their Digital National lD through the official website at https://national-id.gov.ph/. The Digital National lD may be saved to a mobile device via screenshot capture or file download.
Both the ePhillD and the Digital National lD have the same functionality and validity as the National lD card, and are valid forms of identification for transactions, subject to authentication.
All registered individuals will still receive
their National lD cards, even if an ePhillD or Digital National lD has been
obtained. For updates, inquiries and concerns about the National lD System,
