MEZ2, Lapu-Lapu City LGU team up for drainage clean-up

LOOK: Some 679 individuals from the management and locators of Mactan Economic Zone 2 (MEZ2), government agencies, non-governmental organizations, Lapu-Lapu City residents, and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine National Police (PNP) and Philippine Red Cross (PRC) groups came together Thursday, September 9 to mark the 10^th year of the city-wide clean-up of drainage areas in Lapulapu City, strictly following health and safety protocols.

Staying true to the Aboitiz Group’s core value of Responsibility, MEZ2’s initiative demonstrates its deep commitment to its host community. The clean-up is meant to ensure the free flow of water in the drainage areas to prevent flooding, as well as drive community awareness to properly manage and dispose their garbage.
