mWell brings biggest online medical mission nationwide on August 27-28

CEBU CITY -- Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC) launched the 2nd National mWellness Day, the biggest nationwide online medical mission via the mWell app on August 27 to 28 bringing more volunteer doctors and health practitioners from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao to provide free online consultation to Filipinos.

According to Chaye Cabal-Revilla, Chief Finance, Risk and Sustainability Officer MIPC, Filipinos nationwide can consult from a range of doctors on the mWell app where they can receive free quality health consultation from general practitioners, specialists, and mental health experts.

“Healthcare is a basic right. Our advocacy of bringing healthcare closer to more Filipinos is part of our sustainability anchor. We are truly passionate about making a difference in the lives of our countrymen through our responsive, highly convenient platform,” Revilla said.

This advocacy initiative is part of MPIC’s sustainability mission to bring healthcare closer to more Filipinos nationwide. The National mWellness Day online medical mission is just a few taps away on the mobile gadgets.

Download the mWell PH app and register, choose from the roster of hundreds of volunteer primary care and specialized doctors and avail of the free consultation. Simple and accessible, Revilla added.

The annual event that began in September 2021, is built on compassion that cures.  Using digital technology through the mWell PH app, access to healthcare is made more convenient, just like any on-ground face-to-face medical mission but from the comfort and security of the home.

On top of the free consultation, the first one hundred patients will receive vitamin vouchers from MedExpress and Watsons with free shipping. They will also be given free laboratory exams including x-ray and complete blood count, and emergency outpatient coverage valid for one year, mWell said.

“Filipinos now have better access to healthcare through mWell’s integrated digital healthcare ecosystem with a wide and sustainable network of medical experts and services,” MPIC President, Chairman and CEO, Manny Pangilinan said
