MANDAUE CITY— The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) organized a special event called Macroeconomic Briefing 2024 on February 16 at the Oakridge Horizon in Oakridge Business Park, Mandaue City to equip its members with the knowledge to navigate through challenges and shifting trends in the country’s economic landscape.

MCCI President Mark Ynoc said that the Mandaue Chamber's Macroeconomic Briefing supports the forward-looking attitude of entrepreneurs.  "This event has equipped us with key insights for our analysis, giving us an overview of the behavior and performance of our country's economy. It has enlightened us with important knowledge on various economic indicators, such as growth rate and inflation, which could potentially affect or influence our businesses in our respective industries," he added.

The Macroeconomic Briefing is the start of the knowledge-sharing opportunities lined up at Mandaue Chamber this year. MCCI invites companies across the country, not just from Mandaue City, to be chamber members and reap various benefits, including knowledge sharing, network building, representation, certification, and promotion, among others.

Ynoc was inducted as this year’s president along with the officers and members of the MCCI Board 2024, in an oath-taking ceremony that followed the Macroeconomic Briefing. The Mandaue Chamber also welcomed 13 new members during the ceremony.
